Es war Anfang Oktober als Pokerbots im iPoker Netzwerk entdecket wurde. Umso erstaunter war die Pokergemeinde, als man festgestellt hat, dass diese Bots sogar direkt vom Pokeranbieter selbst stammen. Nach langem hin und her hat sich iPoker nun entschlossen aktiv den Kampf gegen die Pokerbots aufzunehmen.
Neue AGBs sollen die Jagdsaison des iPoker Netzwerks gegen die Pokerbots eröffnen. Darin enthalten sind Punkte, die komplett verbieten künstliche Intelligenz bzw. automatisierte Software zu nutzen. Genau so wenig ist in Zukunft Software erlaubt, die dem Spieler einen unfairen Vorteil verschafft und ein weiterer Punkt erlaubt es dem Pokeranbieter aktiv nach Bots zu suchen.
Hier die neuen Punkte im original Wortlaut:
“You are not permitted to:
• Use any type of assistance programs which is or may be designed to provide you with an unfair advantage. Assitance Program is defined as any computer software and/or non-software-based databases or profiles.
• Use any artificial intelligence including, without limitation, „robots“ in connection with the Service. You are prohibited from any interaction within the Poker Room that is not the direct result of you personally utilizing the Software for the purpose for which it was intended
• You acknowledge and agree that iPoker may take steps to detect and prevent the use prohibited Assistance Programs. These steps may include, but are not limited to, examination of software programs running concurrently with the Software on the User’s computer. You agree that you will not attempt to bypass, interfere with, or block such steps, including, without limitation, the use of third party software that bypasses, interferes with, or blocks such steps. Any attempt to restrict iPoker in this matter will entitle iPoker to immediately suspend the Service to you and you shall immediately forfeit any winnings.“
Bleibt abzuwarten ob iPoker den Worten dieser neuen Punkte auch Taten folgen lässt. Es wäre den Spielern zu wünschen und die Grundlage ist nun bereits geschafft. Jetzt muss es beim Pokeranbieter heißen: Ärmel hochkrempeln und die Jagd nach Pokerbots beginnt.“
